The consensus, after discussion with the eminent upstream PowerPC
developpers, is that 'powerpc' is the actual name to be used (GNU
programs already do since a long while), and that 'ppc' although a
practical shortcut is not the name of the architecture.

Therefore, "powerpc" is already in use:
1/ the 250 packages for powerpc are compiled with this architecture.
2/ master already have a 'binary-powerpc' section.

So I agree we should change the mailing-list name.
