Thanks, Luca.  That's doable.

The problem is that I am now too overloaded and therefore less motivated
to maintain a test environment that I don't use myself.

Thanks Russ!  Your comments alleviated my hesitations to go for option
1.  Then hopefully everyone would be happy :)
