Bug#881642: Add already existing `vim-python` virtual package to list of virtual packages
Package: debian-policy
Version: 4.1.1.1
Severity: wishlist
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-----
Hash: SHA512
Hello,
while opening the debian-policy wishlist bug [1] about creating a vim-python3
package, I've noticed that the existing `vim-python` package is not in the list
of virtual packages maintained at [2]. This was triggered by the desire to
solve
python-neovim bug #872942 [3].
This wishlist bug is merely to update the list at [1], as several packages
already provide the `vim-python` virtual package.
I propose the following description:
Miscellaneous
- -------------
vim-python a compatible vim editor that can run python 2.x addons
Kind regards,
