Bug#628515: recommending verbose build logs

* Charles Plessy <plessy@debian.org>, 2011-11-28, 16:11:
it seems to me that the best way to materialise a consensus for a release goal is to actually get it listed in http://release.debian.org/wheezy/goals.txt and have the work started.

Matthias has already proposed it as RG, and he was redirected here: http://lists.debian.org/debian-release/2011/03/msg00023.html

This will protect the Policy from documenting options that are not implemented. In line with this, http://wiki.debian.org/PolicyChangesProcess mentions “the proposed solution be known to work”.

Well, I believe the fundamental part of the proposal (making build logs verbose by default) is mostly already implemented, i.e. majority of packages do produce verbose build logs.
