To be clear: I have no problems with trying to make explicit what the
current position of ftpmaster is. Indeed, that has been the goal in the
past several months when I've been raising this issue on debian-devel.

In the absence of *actual unambiguous responses*, in our forum of record
(preferably in the thread on debian-devel) from ftpmaster on the
questions raised, though, I disagree with a change that could well be
another inaccurate statement of their position. We don't want to have
round after round of second-guessing what ftpmaster's position is.
