I am not sure I agree with the first part of this statement [1]
Is there a way to tell dkpg-source that the content of the Debian patch
should be the debian directory and the rest should go in the 'upstream
tarball' ? The other issue is how to handle the upstream changelog ?

[1] I maintain two native packages, but they were natives before I adopted
them and therefore this is not entirely my choice.
