BTW, even if my implementation works for libocamlbricks-ocaml-dev [1]
I'd regard this rather as a bug than a feature, becuase it just should
not work - it should be formatted as separate lists.  When seeing cases
like this I teand to come back more and more to my initial suggestion:
Fix pure ASCII formatting first independently from the library which
might be used later.
