Package: general
Severity: minor

No package lists /etc/xml, though there is stuff there:
$ dlocate /etc/xml|wc -l
0
$ ls /etc/xml
catalog          docbook-xml.xml.old  scrollkeeper.xml      sgml-data.xml.old
catalog.old      docbook-xsl.xml      scrollkeeper.xml.old  xml-core.xml
docbook-xml.xml  docbook-xsl.xml.old  sgml-data.xml         xml-core.xml.old

Maybe you could clone reassign to the packages to blame, if any.

Hi,

        Firstly, we need to make the tools and front-ends deal with
 with registering optional files that might be created and/or shared
 between multiple packages should be put in place. and been tested out
 by having a few packages implement that. Then it should go into the
 developers reference, and finally, migrate into the technical policy.

        Starting with policy before the solution has been designed,
 implemented, tested, and modified is not the right thing to do.
