And I want to thank those who bore with me through all this
discussion; it seems to have produced a good result at the end, which
was what I hoped for all along.

What we do still need is the list of grandfathered builtins.
(Of course, if we get that list wrong, it's no disaster, because it's
easy to adjust it as necessary.)
