I second this - having watched the emails to and fro from a group of
alpha Debian types who couldn't agree on which pub to meet at in a
small-ish UK town (Cambridge) and watched the semi-organised chaos
which is a Debian stand at Linux Expo in UK where everyone knows each
other and has been in contact In Real Life - fully distributed consensus
among 908 DD's would be relatively impossible :)
It is also worth remembering just how wide a constituency Debian is -
someone asked about "typical Debian users" ?? a couple of years ago ??
and the range of responses was worldwide and amazing in its breadth.
Apart from the fact that most of them are male, the same could probably
be said of the range of DD's.
