I recently helped a coworker rebuild Red Hat Linux 9 with gcc-3.3 and
among ~200 source packages, there were two that still used varargs.h,
both were trivial to fix and should now be fixed upstream.
Far more packages (maybe 5%) used other "features" that are now removed
from gcc-3.3, e.g. multi-line string literals.
