I'd just like to mention that each of these non-7-bit characters causes
another override in the script that generates www.debian.org/devel/people...
it would be much nicer if we could just stick to ASCII :)

(Not that I have anything against Latin 1, it's just that it's not right to
privilege just them and not other equally technically complicated charsets.)
