Bug#53849: Processed: your mail
Hi,
Why has this bug been reopened, with no indication that there
is anything new to add? The last time this proposal failed to build a
consensus, and what makes you think it shall fare any better this
time? If you have fresher arguments that may help convince the
opponents, now is the time to share them. (personally, I am inclined
to be opposed to this proposal, since I like the rule that standard
== packages one expects to find on a UNIX box [I would much rather
include X4, given the increase in bandwidth, and the relative
cheapness of storage media, both fixed and removable])
