Bug#88651: debian-policy: Section 3.2 refers to packaging manual
Package: debian-policy
Version: 3.5.2.0
Severity: normal
Section 3.2 begins:
3.2 List of fields
This list here is not supposed to be exhaustive. Most fields
are dealt with elsewhere in this document and in the packaging
manual.
Because the packaging manual is supposed to be incorporated into
the policy manual, this reference should be changed to point to
the correct location within the policy manual.
Also, ``This list here''? How about ``The list given here''? (I
can expand on why the current language is horrible if you'd like.)
Finally, I still have packaging-manual installed on my system --
the current debian-policy package recommends packaging-manual (Bug
#86507); I also don't see any conflicts line that would require
the system to remove packaging-manual.
