Policy 2.1.6, "Further copyright considerations" says:

[...]

   When in doubt, send mail to debian-devel@lists.debian.org. Be prepared
   to provide us with the copyright statement.

Since the debian-legal mailing list exists and it was specifically 
created to discuss copyright and licensing issues, the above reference
should be changed to refer to `debian-legal@lists.debian.org'.

I'm looking for seconds for this proposal.
