If your site has NFS mounted home directories then all user accounts
are be created by the admin with the right UID, or more usually just
shared via NIS or rsync.

Then the postinst of my packages would have to ask the admin to provide
the right user id for the user to create. Do we really want that?
You haven't still provided a technical argument about why dynamically
created static UIDs in the range > 64000 would be bad for debian.
