An install of smartlist died flaming death recently because
/etc/aliases is a directory on this system not a file. Although
/etc/aliases should be a file according to policy (it's not my
machine, I just upgrade packages on it, I can't force them to follow
policy, even if I were so inclined), it would be nice if smartlist
didn't die, but rather ensured /etc/aliases was a file before trying
to write to it.
Also is there really any value in auto-installing this one alias?
