Common to see this..

Very uncommon to see this, it ends up more like:

A: "Hey, I heard Linux is great, can we use it?"
B: "Only if you upgrade to it completely."
A: "So we can't really phase it in over time?"
B: "It won't work with your existing servers and clients, so not really."
A: "Ah, well, too bad for Linux then."
