	You are mixing file names with versions now. versions can't
 have an underscrore. So, your example, the package name is
 libc6-pre2.1-doc. The upstream version is 2.0.93-980414, and the
 debian revision is 1. This is also not a good solution to the
 rpe-release problem (not that anyone is proposing it).
