policy is now outdated WRT /etc/X11/Xresources
Policy, 5.7:
_Application defaults_ files have to be installed in the directory
/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/app-defaults/'. They are considered as part of the
program code. Thus, they should not be modified and should not be
tagged as _conffile_. If the local system administrator wants to
customise X applications globally, the file /etc/X11/Xresources' should
be used.
As of the great X reorganization, /etc/X11/Xresouces is a directory and the
admin should either edit an existing file in there, or, at their option,
create a new file with a name that contains alphanumeric characters only.
Policy should be updated to allow for that.
