Heh, as I mentioned when we met, I never really liked /var/mail --
partly because of philosophical reasons of what /var/spool is for, and
partially because it breaks every Linux box I've ever seen or heard
of.  :-)

Didn't see this debated on fhs-discuss though, so I assumed this was
settled in a massive flamewar over a year ago....
