The explanation was unsatisfactory, and I didn't receive a better one in a
separate message. I was not going to contact the developer directly,
because he was clearly refusing to relate the timestamp problem
with the kpathsea searching algorithm.
At this point I don't have clear whether the words "or me" in "email
submit@bugs.debian.org or me" are still valid or not. Are they valid?
