[about changeing paths ...]

oh : it's easy :
a) one large rules file, that moves everything to the right place
and
b) edit every single file, searching for paths (with kde i could reduce
this work to search all files for "kdedir", and only edit those who used
it (50% or so).)

but maybe the gnu team has a central place to configure the directories
(if they use gnu autoconf, automake and libtool in all sources, it might
be very easy to change the paths. and if they don't hardcode it in the
binary, or use at least a central library function to manage paths, it
might be very easy).

after a long battle, the kde team also find out that flexibility ni
paths and a central place to configure them is a good idea. and i hope
gnustep is doing better work !
