I know that. How many people on debian-user do? Compare that
to how many people would know <package>.orig.tar.gz and how to unpack
that? I still maintain that you need to know gory details in order to
unpack .deb files.
Debian developers are not good yardsticks to determine what
constitutes goryness of the details.
