For future reference, is there a good place to inform someone that I have packages ready for upload, or is it best to just mark them for unstable and wait for someone with upload permissions to pick them up?
Good question :)I'm running `dpt ready-for-upload' daily; there's also https://tracker.debian.org/teams/pkg-perl/ (interestingly https://udd.debian.org/dmd.cgi?email1=pkg-perl-maintainers%40lists.alioth.debian.org does not know about packages to upload). Also #debian-perl-changes is helpful.
I don't know how often how many DDs check these sources; I guess usually someone will pick them up, but you can always ask here on the list or on IRC as well.
