Introduction

Hello, my name is Samuel Young. I am a hobbyist Perl developer, CPAN
contributor (id: SAMYOUNG) and Debian user interested in joining the
Perl team. I'm primarily interested in maintaining packages of Perl
modules that I find useful, but I could also perhaps contribute to
some of the Perl tooling as well. As for prior packaging experience, I
have some experience maintaining packages for SlackBuilds.org, a
3rd-party repository of user build scripts for the Slackware Linux
distribution, many of which are Perl modules/programs. I also have
some experience using C, Go, and Python. My salsa username is
