I have marked this package 'unstable' to signify that I believe it is ready to upload.
Package: libintl-perl
The new request is based on updating to a newer upstream version.
Two patches have been remedied:
- CVE-2016-1238
- dot-inc
The upstream changes meant some Lintian warning were issued, and the corrections made were to:
- skip NEWS file as a duplicate of Changes file, which is
automatically picked up and added as changelog.gz
- remove .gitignore file from installed package
The latter is a bit odd, as the package has no '.gitignore' files at all.
Raised a new patch:
- passed patches upstream: 'spelling2.patch'
