pkg-perl & jessie-backports ?

All,

  There are some perl module updates that would be useful in at least jessie-
backports if not jessie-pu. How can I (i'm a DM not a DD so I can't do it 
myself) see about getting such updates at least into jessie-backports?  I 
don't recall seeing a pkg-perl policy about it...

   This is in regards to fixes for an issue related to printing PDFs which was 
resolved by version 3.08 of libtemplate-plugin-latex-perl and v0.300.2 of 
liblatex-driver-perl.  The updated iblatex-driver-perl is in testing, while 
for the updated  libtemplate-plugin-latex-perl I'm waiting for a response from 
the author about an issue with the ChangeLog before I update it...
