Heh, believe it or not I was already composing a reply in the
'Multiarching perl' thread already when this came in :)
Everything I have is now on the 'ntyni/multiarch-5.14' branch of
git://git.debian.org/perl/perl.git
Sorry for not getting it out earlier.
I'm not aware of any other current work in this area.
