I though that tag was needed. The wiki on git says that package should be tagged, but does not show the "workflow" when you're not a DD (apparition in PET, review by a DD, later upload by a DD).
Putting the tag after upload makes sense (as I does for SVN), but could the wiki be updated to make the difference between a DD and a maintainer ?
