Thanks for that. Module::Install is rather new and I think I have never seen a dist that is using it and has no META file. The only problem I see with the above is that it makes dh-make-perl run untrusted code. I'd rather make it abort and suggest that the user runs whatever s/he wants in order to help. To defent my paranoic attitude, think about runnung dh-make-perl over all of CPAN automatically.
