Hm, no. Git is not yet plugged in the "original", "common" workflow. What I think this means is: (a) PET can't be used to track the status of the package this is not the end of the world, but you'd have to use some other way to do so. PET has been proved indispensable for maintaining great piles of packages. (b) There is no documentation. Compare with http://pkg-perl.alioth.debian.org/subversion.html (SIGH, I should really do something similar for Git). (c) because of (a), you'll have to look for sponsors by mailing (to this ML) or on IRC (#debian-perl on irc.debian.org, a.k.a. OFTC) You'll have to weight out the full workflow integration with the discomfort of working with Subversion :-/ And, if the discomfort is big, and you have the time and the energy to fix (a) and (b), that would be really awesome!
