Article in The Perl Review
Hello!
I recently submitted an article in rough draft to The Perl Review.
The article is on packaging modules from CPAN for debian and you can
read the rough draft here -> http://jeremiahfoster.com/debian/debs-from-cpan.html
The article will probably be somewhat boring because you people know
this stuff already. In fact, you guys taught me all this, so it will
not be anything new. I would be grateful though if you looked through
and pointed out mistakes, policy infractions, etc.
As I mentioned previously, The Perl Review though it might be cool to
have a dedicated debian issue. I thought so too, and to generate
interest and as a quid pro quo, I asked brian d. foy to provide a
subscription to the debian-perl team. He graciously responded with a
password to the online pdf version for those who are interested. I am
not going to spam the list with that data since it would not really be
fair to The Perl Review, but if any debian-perl hackers are interested
I am happy to supply the login brian gave out.
Thanks, and hooray for lenny.
Jeremiah
