CPAN Meta Specification and debian perl

Hi,

	At http://perl-qa.hexten.net/wiki/index.php/CPAN_Meta_Spec_Proposals  
there is a discussion regarding how to improve the CPAN Meta  
specification. This specification will likely affect the work that  
debian-perl does in building and maintaining packages. The needs of  
'downstream' packagers and distributions seem to be somewhat favorably  
considered here so perhaps people from the debian-perl group might  
look the spec over to see if there are ways that we can make packages  
easier to build and manage. In any case, accurate input from debian  
perl team members can probably only help the process of developing a  
clear and effective spec.
