Dual-Life Modules

Hi all:

What exactly is the status of dual-life modules?

I got a message via IRC from one of the upstream maintainers of DBIx::Class:
02:49:36 <ribasushi> 08109 of dbic will need Test::More/Test::Simple
0.92 and File::Temp 0.22
02:49:41 <ribasushi> neither of which is available in sid

> rmadison libtest-simple-perl
libtest-simple-perl |     0.62-1 |     etch-m68k | source, all
libtest-simple-perl |     0.62-1 |     oldstable | source, all
libtest-simple-perl |     0.80-1 |        stable | source, all
libtest-simple-perl |     0.90-1 |       testing | source, all
libtest-simple-perl |     0.90-1 |      unstable | source, all

aven'jon(~/debian/DBD-Pg/libdbd-pg-perl)> rmadison libfile-temp-perl
libfile-temp-perl |     0.21-1 |       testing | source, all
libfile-temp-perl |     0.21-1 |      unstable | source, all

So we need to update both of these.

I seem to recall there being issues with dual-lifed modules. For
example, it would be nice to have the new Module::Build uploaded. I'm
not sure if they are broken, I recall that there were issues with
sbuild and dependency detection due to the way perl-modules Provides:
things.

Cheers,

Jonathan
