Hi, When upgrading the Debian package of Net-XMPP from 1.00 to 1.02, I noticed that the license was changed from "same as Perl" to "LGPL". It is not clear which version of the GNU Lesser General Public License is meant. Yes, there is a LICENSE.LGPL file in the distribution, containing version 2 of the license, but it is not clear if the licensing terms are "version 2 exactly" or "either version 2 or any later version as published by FSF". Please use the boilerplate after the end of the license (adapted to Net-XMPP) to avoid any uncertainities. Additionally, META.yaml contains contradicting information: license: lgpl resources: license: |- http://opensource.org/licenses/artistic-license.php Thanks, -- dam JabberID: dam@jabber.minus273.org
