If you don't have trunk checked out (which is quite big, mine is 1.1G, 868 packages), I guess you should not use the script and inject as usual, or patch it to support such scenario :) also, -m <URL> could be replaced with -a <bugnumber> The debian/dir in upstream source could really be annoying.
