Hi, in scripts/ directory in SVN there is a new tool, takeover-for-pkg-perl.sh, that eases the process of taking over existing packages. It downloads the sources from the archive, injects them in SVN, adds changelog entry documenting the takeover, optionally pointing to the mail in which previous maintainer requested the takeover. No rocket-science, but saves some time when there are a bunch of packages to take over. Ah, and it supports taking over several packages in a row - just list the source package names as arguments.
