While both are probably equivalent for the size of modifications that
we're dealing with, I've switched generally to quilt from dpatch at Steve
Langasek's recommendation and have to say that it's quite a bit nicer.  It
requires a bit of time to get accustomed to how it does things, but it has
a lot more functionality than dpatch does.

(It is missing dpatch's non-patch stuff, like moving and renaming files,
but I've never missed that; the little bit of that that's required I just
do in debian/rules directly.)
