Re: Pile of Perl package to give away

This and the previous announcement beg the question of what the role of the Debian-perl group is supposed to be. are we obliged to take in orphaned perl packages?

Hi,

I'm looking to give away the following Perl packages. I'm hoping that
the Debian Perl group can take them over.

These packages are all in good shape and are pretty much bug-free
(there's just one open bug among all of them). All except
libsub-override-perl are up-to-date with the latest upstream release,
and all have valid watch files. Most of the packages are mature. There
are new upstream releases only occassionally. Some, like
libhtml-parser-perl or libxml-writer-perl, are fairly important, but
most of them are used by only a few other packages like XMLTV.

  libdate-manip-perl
  libemail-find-perl
  libhtml-fromtext-perl
  libhtml-linkextractor-perl
  libhtml-parser-perl
  libhtml-tagset-perl
  libhtml-tokeparser-simple-perl
  libhtml-tree-perl
  libhttp-cache-transparent-perl
  liblingua-en-numbers-ordinate-perl
  liblingua-preferred-perl
  liblog-tracemessages-perl
  libsort-versions-perl
  libsub-override-perl
  libterm-progressbar-perl
  libtk-tablematrix-perl
  libxml-namespacesupport-perl
  libxml-simple-perl
  libxml-twig-perl
  libxml-writer-perl

If someone wants one or more of these, please write me and let me know.
Otherwise, I'll file ITAs and upload new packages over the course of
this week (it will take me a bit of time to get all of this done).
