yes and it propagated to testing very quickly.

That I don't know, given my limited experience.  I can certainly redo the 
package with the old source tarball, however, as a point of reference, 
even the old name is not the original name from CPAN (which includes 
capitals and not the ".orig.tar.gz" construction).

Let's see what Gunnar says and then I will do whatever fixes are 
necessary.
