Have a look at libstatistics-descriptive-perl, I packaged that years before
this one. Even has on-line/off-line mode for running stats. Upstream is
stale for this one, but it works just fine (I use it regularly).
I had a discussion with our fearless Perl maintainer, and will probably add
a Math::BigInt package, pending some testing.
