Re: perl and ssmtp

To Phillip,
www-data@server.edu is most likely the user your process is running
Do you have sendmail running? It's really easy to fake the from address.

code snip

$mailprog = '/usr/lib/sendmail';
$toEmail= 'anyone@yahoo.com';
open(MAIL, "|$mailprog -t");
print MAIL "To: $toEmail\n";
print MAIL "From: your_name\@domain.edu\n";
print MAIL "Subject: Hello World\n\n";
print MAIL "This is the body\n";

Thank You,

Who is John Galt?
