Yes. And if you do not want your perl scripts to break, you can change
by hand /etc/alternatives/perl to point to /usr/bin/perl-5.004 ...
And you'll be able to compile your packages for perl-5.005 if you follow
the instructions of the perl policy by simply doing :
PERL=perl-5.005 dpkg-buildpackage -rsudo
