1. Improving my skills in working with Debian Operating System
2. Learning how to work with Salsa server on my first Debian package (doclava)
3. Learning Git while working on my first Debian package
4. Configuring Cowbuilder/Pbuilder and learning how to use them
5. Learning how to work with git-buildpackage on my first Debian package
6. Testing setup and configuration of all necessary programs by building some Debian binary packages from source code packages
7. Practical studying of Debian package updating while working on my first Debian package
8. Learning how to work with patches in Quilt on my first Debian package
9. Studying some relevant theory from “Debian New Maintainers' Guide” (Debian package maint-guide).
