Hello,
I have worked on creating a new package 'android-platform-external-selinux' which is same as 'android-platform-external-libselinux[1]' which AOSP has merged them together and we only need the 'libselinux.so'.
Listed below is the work I have done during First Week of GSoC :
- I have updated the source code of 'android-platform-external-selinux' from AOSP to version 8.1.0+r23 as recommended.
- I have created the debian files to build it from the source package.
- I have created new makefile, control and rules files so it suits up to the new version of 'android-platform-external-selinux'.
- I have fixed the lintian warnings, and few copyright issues by taking a glance of previous packages.
- As there was no bugs related to 'android-platform-external-libselinux[1]' in debian BTS. No patches were made.
I have created a merge request[2] in gitlab to commit the changes I have made. I have been working as per mentor's instructions and was able to proceed further with their feedback and help.
Thanking you,
Chandramouli Rajagopalan.
(Happy Coding ;) )
