They use broken stuff from the net and wonder that it breaks? Surprise.
No, they shoul know what they o an if they don't they shouldn't mess with
$PATH in this way.
Upstream FWIW agrees with me.

An how? Check whether $0 is is /usr/bin/X11 instead of /usr/bin? Sounds
hackish to me, next time someone else comes up with another symlink and
then....
