More infos to be more clear. This is not because we like opaqueness :-)
This is because they (technically) were extensions, so they
should be in an own package[1]. Besiddes that, they have dependencies
not needed for "normal" use (and thus you'd need install more
than needed if you don't need them python[2]. bsh)[3])
And note even upstream has them split:
rengelhard@lxrengelhard:~/tmp/LibO_3.5.4rc2_Linux_x86-64_install-deb_en-US/DEBS$
ls *script*
libobasis3.5-extension-beanshell-script-provider_3.5.4-2_amd64.deb
libobasis3.5-extension-javascript-script-provider_3.5.4-2_amd64.deb
libobasis3.5-extension-python-script-provider_3.5.4-2_amd64.deb
So you apparently installed hem with TDF but not with the corresponding
packages from Debian....
Regards,
Rene
[1] has been changed later to be "normal" components
[2] LO4 has python wizards etc. so one might argue that it should
be merged back, but I think we shouldn't do for consistency
[3] LO from TDF uses internal bsh, we use external libs where possible.
That includes bsh and installing the package thus also has a dependency
on bsh. (see http://packages.debian.org/sid/libreoffice-script-provider-bsh
