Package: openoffice.org
Version: 1.1.1-3
Severity: normal

When I try to run a slideshow in Open Office Impress, the slideshow
does not fill the entire screen, but simply appears in a rectangle on
the screen which was approximately the same size as the original Impress
window (although not in the same position).

Curiously selecting View=> Full Screen seems to work from within open
office. It's just the impress slide shows which don't work.

The problem only occurs with fvwm2.5 as window manager. I have tried in kde, twm and fvwm2.4 and the slide show worked fine. Apparently this is probably not an fvwm2.5 bug, but only shows in fvwm2.5 because it is more EWMH compliant than previous versions. See debian bug report 252671 for details.

Thanks.
