Hi!

In our company we've been using OpenOffice for about a year, with a user
base of approx 20 users, I know it's not much, but yet it has helped us
get some experience with OOo.

These are some of the problems that we have encountered with
OpenOffice Calc:

* The options "Do not print empty pages" and "Print only the selected
sheets" are not selected by default, and therefore, everytime a new user
is created, I have to go and change them, since it really makes no
sense to print empty pages or print pages other than the ones
  selected.
It would be better if these options were selected by default.

* When previewing a document, it's very non-friendly to show pages that
are not the ones to be printed. I mean, you have a document with
several sheets, and have only one selected. When you go to "Print
Preview" the whole document shows up, even if only one page would be
printed when pressing the "Print" button.
It should show the same things that you would get when pressing
  the "Print" button.

* The "Printing Area" works in a non-friendly way, as well. If you have
a "Printing Area" selected in one sheet, it affects the rest of the
  sheets.
It should only affect the sheet where it was defined.

I hope you understand what I mean and maybe can help making these wishes
come true.

Love,
Margarita.

Dear openoffice.org user,

Thanks for your interest in OO.org and the bug report you have contributed.

Your bug report [0] was done for a version which is now quite old (pre
version 2.0.0).

During the last 6 weeks I sent 3 requests to update this bug report, and verify
that this bug still exists with a more up to date version of OO.org.

Since the bug is quite old, and I didn't get any response regarding this bug,
I'm closing it. I'm using the current unstable version for proving version info.

If you'll find this bug to still exist in a future version of OO.org, please
reopen the bug and specify the affected version.. Let me know if you need help
with this process.
